The sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth,
The mighty prince may be a liar.
When he speaks of candy, dear,
He does not speak the truth.
He's watching and waiting, child,
He's waiting for you to come.
Itching to grab you, dear,
Though his temper may seem mild.
He'll snatch you away,
From the home which you love so.
The trust that you doth have in him,
Quickly it will fray.
So listen carefully, darling child:
The sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth,
The wonderful prince doth not speak the truth!
So sweet little girl, he is dangerous, you see!
Do your best and don't be beguiled . . .
